Congregation Beth El is actively linked to the broader faith community of

Fort Bend County.

We are partners with the East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry, providing financial and material support to needy families in our area.  On Yom Kippur, we conduct a food drive, gathering as much canned food and dry good as possible for the Ministry’s food pantry.

We are a supporting congregation in the Fort Bend Family Promise program, an interfaith coalition of congregations which provide temporary housing to parents and children who are homeless.

We strive to understand other faiths.  Through our participation in the Coalition for Mutual Respect and Understanding (sponsored by the Anti-Defamation League), our temple is matched with another congregation.  Pulpit exchanges between clergy foster a deeper appreciation of our various beliefs and traditions.
